So I found this panther. $950, with cold A/C. My mom has forbidden me from buying another car, at least until the end of November. I live in Canada.
I know it’s a first world problem, but when you have the game set up and someone changes the playing field, it’s frustrating as all hell.

To be realistic though, you won’t need cold A/C until at least March or April.

There will be more cheap Panthers out there..... There always are and always will be.

So move out and live in the panther. It’s like half a house in there. You’ll be fine.

“Just when you think you know the answer, I go and change all the questions!” - Rowdy Roddy Piper, and also apparently your mom.
I wouldn't worry too much though. They built several dozen Panthers over the years, so that car and like a billion others are gonna show up on Craigslist between now and when you can buy.

I’m pretty sure the trunk is about as roomy as my studio apartment.

I found the interior to be surprisingly cramped for a car of that size.

That looks really clean for $950. Are used car values lower up there?
EDIT: Never mind. Apparently Panthers are dirt cheap. Who knew?

Is that a 97? If so, buy it. Hell, any Aero Panther is worth buying. Just prepare for epic snow slides and the (inevitable) replacement of your intake manifold two or three times.

You need a hiding place, then you need the Gaslight effect. Say, “no, don’t you remember, we agreed I could buy this.” And, “really, you don’t remember? We should get you checked out.”

He’s in Canada. He won’t need it until the last week of May.

I think he’s in the southern mainland, though. Which is the one place in Canada where it doesn’t get super cold.

Fair enough. I grew up in Ottawa.
BmanUltima's car still hasn't been fixed yet, he'll get on it tomorrow, honest.

Used car values are ridiculously high here in Canada, although you can find good deals if you know how to haggle.

I'm actually in Ottawa right now, so I understand where you're coming from.

Where in Canada are you? What year is that thing? Body looks pretty clean but being a Canadian car I would check passenger side frame by the control arm with a microscope for rust.

I have a friend who lives in Demmitt, AB. She wanted to know if she should fix the AC on her 4Runner before she sold it. I said, why? You are halfway to the Northwest Territories. Make sure the heater works.
